it happened with me last month , they asked same documents which i have already sent to buffalo i got proof with me and confirmation TNT .
its clearly showing in my capis in sep 2012 that buffalo got all my documents and all document are ok but now on 9th oct 2012 they again asked same documents and gave me time to submit with in 30 days
so let c what happen
i think they just delying our files nothing else

The exact same thing in here... with the CAIPS before my file number and the deadline was this Monday... When I called my MP she said your bring forward day was close and blah blah blah...

But I really thing they either:
1- want to wast some more time
2- want to find an excuse (like you didn't submit the document in due time, and so on) to get ride of our file

or they really want us to cough up more money to somehow help the f^cking dead economy

i got two email same day with in few minutes
in first email they gave me date 10/11/2012 and in 2nd gave me date 9/12/2012.
so i think 9/12/2012 already gone so 10/11/2012 will be due date , coz i got two emails on oct 9

I applied in June 2010 and started processing in April 2012 by VO and PPR in Oct 2012.

They did not mention a date it is just a note in the tail saying you have 60 days to submit.

Apr -2011 Received CSQ
July-2011 Applied for permanent residency, Buffalo
Nov 15, 2011 Instructions for medical exams from CPP-Ottawa
Nov 22, 2011 Medical exams undertaken

ECAS not updated, only shows "Application received".
Ordered CAIPS in August 2012, notes show Medicals passed, other criteria in progress, due date for Nov. 2012.
Two emails from CPP-Ottawa only indicate "Your application is in progress, no action is required from you at this moment."

Absolutely YES. You can have two FSW applications at the same time. There are many applicants who applied before 2008 also applied recently (on or after 2010). Just be careful when you send your second application so that all the information given in both the applications are similar.

Application status on ecas - in process - application received
Anouncement on website for transfer of applications from Buffalo to Ottawa - 29 May 2012
I tried to change my address after May 29th - I sent email, letter etc., but address was not updated on ecas.
I wanted to add my child (born in July 2012) to my application but I did not get any response from buffalo or Ottawa after repeated emails, letter and fax.
Can you please suggest me as to what I should do now?
Is ordering caips notes a good idea?
Anyone with similar timelines and a response from Ottawa?
Is Ottawa pilot office contacting through mail or email?

My timeline is same as yours.... and I have not got any update after receiving first AOR in October 2011.... My application date is July 20,2011 and waiting for update....

I sent them also numerous emails, no reply yet.... i m thinking this might take long as they are still processing July 2010 applicants....I ordered CAIPS note as well... nothing useful... just found out that my file is in ottawa.. which I already figured it out before....
