Hi guys,
My application was approved by CIO in April 2010 and they instructed me to forward my application to Buffalo in May 2010.
After almost 2 years wait, I received my medical request in April 2012, togeter with additional documents.
I gathered everything and finished up the medical exam and sent them out May 24, 2012. I checked Canada Post and found my package was delivered on June 1, 2012. However, Buffalo office was closed on May 29, 2012.
Here is the problem. I sent out my documents before the office closure and it was delivered after the closure.
I believe (or at least I sincerely hope) that in Buffalo there should be someone staying to receive mails and forward them to applicable offices (in my case it should be Ottawa). BUT I check my online status, nothing was updated - NOT EVEN "your medical results are received", or "your application is now transferred to Ottawa" or anything like that as other applicants mentioned above.
Anyone has similar experience?
Another thing is on the letter requesting for additional documents, they did not check the box of "paying Right of Permanent Residence Fee", so i did not include any payment. Would htis be a problem that holding up my application?
