BUFFALO APPLICANTS - File transferred to other VO due to Buffalo closing down

I have seen lots of people being asked their CV. Have you guys found out the reason? Is it for Quebec specific applicants only?

Looks like applicants who applied under student stream are asked for the CV.

I just looked at the GCMS form recently and they have added academia over there! It seems a fairly long list of waiting applicants.

Hey sharuu what exactly you mean by academia and what GMCS they added this academia?

Hey Shaikhaffi I think student stream applicant are the ones with the least priority, so its normal for there application to be delayed

I would like to bring an update to you folks here:

I am an April 2011 applicant.
I was requested to Re-Do the meds two days ago. I was also asked to send them updated personal histories and CV.
I was also asked to pay the Right of PR fee.

Also, they asked for a new police certificate, but since i had not left the country since then, they said I dont need to send them.
I have had bunch of emails from CIC- Ott-pilot during last 2 days,

I dont have any idea if these are good or bad, but you may want to keep your faith in their promises that they would look at our files in Feb 2013.

same thing happened to me ..but they only asked me to send personal history...

why did they ask CV from you...I do not really get them. we are CSQ holders and that part is done...

I guess I need to get ready with update police certificate...as I visited home country for a month...

They send me couple of emails.
First it was only history.

Later it was a second email for the CV. maybe because i am in Academia.

Because I visited my home country for a month after applying. and the police certificate is only valid for 3 months...
if the officer is kind he may not ask...but according to rule they will request to get a new certificate...

as per my experiences and knowledge all these people are robots and they won't take any risk.
They definitely will ask for new certificate...

Hey.. just be positive thats all i can offer. I waited for 23 months in total myself but never lost hope There is no point getting down or negative.. one of these days you will receive that email!

I am a bit confused here. My e-cas status shows 'in process' and it says processing started on 25th Jnauary. Today I went to Canada-US border to renew my work permit, I told the immigration officer my situation, he looked into my client history and told me there has been no activity since 31st August 2011 (the day I got my medical request). I dont know who to believe, my e-cas or the immigration officer ??

There was emails for:

1-CV
2- Publication
3- Personal history
4- Redo Meds
5- Pay the right of PR fee

They were positive in my opinion, except that i had to pay for the meds again.
All from Ott-Pilot. holding Client Id and asking the required docs
