Congratulation for getting your PPR. Could you please share us your time line?
sam-canada said:Hi Clare
You received the PPR by regular mail??? I thought all PPR are sent by email... Could you just confirm please...
Thanks
sharuu said:Thanks.. I am herenotes were printed off of 29th nov and it was the same, security - blank crim - in progress. As I have mentioned before, my checks were completed when I went in process according to my understanding in may. My group name was pr final review and it required only 1 review and thats what happened and I was sent PPR
..
Its the wait game until someone looks at your case!

tank-boy said:Sharu, i dont think having 'PR Final review' on GCMS notes means all checks are done.I say this because my first GCMS report back in July mentioned i am in the PR Final Review category but CPP-O replies me back every time saying i am going through Background check since May .

sharuu said:Page 30 comment by rshysha is what shows your checks are done, atleast thats how Buffalo used to do. Once that is done, you are alloted to PR FINAL REVIEW which means one last check from VO and PPR. Thats what happened in my case, one view and PPR.
nima514 said:I think sharuu is right. However, CIC told the office of the MP that my BG checks are not started yet. It has been two years since I submitted my application to the [late] VO in Buffalo and CIC never told me that I am beign delayed for BG checks so I think I am cleared.
I think CIC replies are based on our information as they appear in the GCMS notes.
sharuu received a PPR while the security field in her GCMS notes were blank (if I remember right). Therefore, GCMS notes don't tell us when we should expect a PPR but GCMS notes do give us reasons for not expecting a PPR.
