On the 28th November post, its said they would like to finalise it within 90 days, which means around march and that is 9 months from July 2011 - the processing time mentioned on the CIC website! I wonder if its just a coincidence ?
Can you share the post link please.

I do not think so. Here is the email I received from Cpp-O last week:
"As your file was received by CIC in May 2011, it will be reviewed within the next 90 days.
As your medical results will be expiring soon, we will be requesting an extension of the validity of these results.
An officer will be reviewing your file and will be in contact with you regarding any outstanding requirements.
We cannot say with certainty that your file will be finalized by the end of February 2013, but our standard is to have 80% of cases in your category finalized by that date.
I appreciate being advised of your concerns".

I think the 80 % means the cases who are straightforward for them to process, if your eligibility has been passed checks done and only medical needs to be extended I think one can expect something before march! I dont see why those of us whose eligibility have been passed should wait more than march...

Hi Guys,

I have got the PPR e-mail from CPP-O :). I am a June, 2011 applicant. Thanks for all the helps I got from this forum. Wish everyone will get their PPR soon.

Thanks

congrats curt_cobain,

Would you please tell, if you've been in contact with your MP office or not? I have a feeling that, too much inquiry may delay the process.

Thanks.

When were your notes printed? It doesnt look they have looked at your file yet. Is your ECAS app received and not In Process?

Thanks nega, I have contacted once, after my file got transferred to CPP-O. MP office told me the same thing, too many inquiries may delay the process.

In most cases, when eligibility is passed your ecas goes to in process. So, when it does in your case that could be the reason.

My eligibility has been passed since Feb. 2012. No PPR yet, let alone PPR, two months ago, the office of the MP told me that my security checks are not even started! It is almost 24 months that I have been waiting.... May be that will make some of you feel less unfortunate....I can ask office of the MP next week for a status update. I am confused why my case has not been finalized yet. but ill keep monitoring the situation in this forum.

If you got GCMS do you see a note similar to rsysha on page 30 of this thread? Thats just stating when checks are done. I dont know why your case has been treated differently...

here's what I read at the end of my only GCMS notes that I received:
Notes: 7
Created: Feb. 2012
.
.
.
Restricted: No
Label: eligibility
Office: Buffalo
PI has been selected by the province of Quebec. Interview waived at this time. Clean RCMP print check and Iran olice certificate one file. Pending: [\space\space]C Processing, RPRF. MH: please forward to [\space\space]C processing, then to ppt reiew.

the officer misspelled police with olice.
two characters were apparently cleared...I mean **C which I think is PRC....I just dont know what that means....that's all there is at the end of my GCMS notes, created in Aug. 2012.
thanks for your review sharuu. you're such a good friend in this forum! I wish you get your PPR soon...
