i know queue is even getting longer day by day, bt how come they are giving pprs to the persons who applied late in this year? i have no clue what kind of system they are running? but do u have any idea that how many pprs they sanction in a day?

No idea, but post sept the entire file was processed within Ottawa so time is saved rather than transferring. That is the reason they are ahead of applicants who had to transfer their files.

Hello folks,

I just found out that CPP Ottawa has cashed our money order to pay RFPR fee. However, our ecas is still the same and no communication or emails from them yet. Would they withdraw the money if they haven't finalized our case?

Thanks

Thats a good point.... Please share your timelines.....

My Ecas is application received.

Applied for certificat de selection in March 2011
Applied in January 2012 (wanted to delay the process a little bit because i had just found a job in the US)
Received AOR and medical request in February 2012
Did Medicals in March 2012
Ecas still shows application received and inside it also says medical results have been received
I had voluntarily sent police certificates and RPRF in August 2012.
That's all.

Its a good thing they have cashed your RPRF, hopefully you hear something soon!

Do you think they won't cash it if we are not eligible for processing?

Thanks

There is no relation between the two, for RPRF they can refund as its just the landing fee!

I see.
I wish they were related so that I can get to relax.

Thanks Sharu

When they assess your eligibility your ECAS should go to In Process - for your mental peace try getting GCMS!

Well it is still application received. I think I will request the notes just to see what's going on.

Thanks

I think it isnt taking 30 days to get them, so you get information quicker and a more recent one. I believe someone mentioned its now taking 2-3 weeks which is a good time frame to get an update.

sharru...how come you are guiding every single person so patiently.....how come you are sitting with such a patience even your medicals has expired....r u going to redo the medicals or wait till last time.....there might be some way out other than wait....

They cash whatever they receive. Correct or incorrect. related or irrelevant.
They would refund it in case of inadmissibility or whatsoever.

Cashing the payments just means they are not DEAD. and they understand that MONEY never sleeps.

Hey folks,

My case was transferred on May 16 too, but haven't heard anything from them, even though my MP inquired about my case 4 weeks ago.

I read earlier in this thread that "IT IS GOING TO TAKE 12 FREAKING MONTHS" from the transfer date to process our cases. Where did you guys hear this from and how reliable the source is? I feel like if I withdraw my application today and apply for CEC, I'll get my PR sooner.

Cheers
