Oh Mr. Boss...

Good to see you around ...

I have a bit of faith in Thursdays, since I got AOR on Thursday ;

Lets see if we can receive a generic email from the Capital Hill.

;D

It seems his file was transfered to local consulate in Jamaica. So, we cannot compare this case with Buffalo/Ottawa timelines.

No bad feel...

Its not just because you are the founder of this thread, but you are also the one who keeps people hopeful and powerful.

Take care Sharuu

I wasn't asked for passport, but I received a message saying that an extension for medical has been requested from Health Dep't yesterday (as it is now more than 1 year). They also told me that they will contact me after they got the repsonse.

Of course, I still don't know what that imply and how long that may take.

Sharru, can you help me on tMay sharuu cahis.

I have a question about medical. Once your medical expires they can extent it for 3 more months? so a total of 15 months. Do they usually give you your pr before the 15 month period? Or can it take longer then that too?

In case your file has not been through the strange process of transit from Buffalo to Ottawa, 15 months is not a bad time for expecting some good news. Maybe even a bit earlier.

But Buffalo transfers, nobody has any clue what is going on. or whether we need to extend medicals or will be extended (which we hope).

So basically, if you are a fresh applicant of 2012, 14-15 month is what you should look for.
But earlier, its difficult to guess.

Hello everyone,
This is just a personal opinion and observation. With regard to the delays most people are expeiencing here with their PR application, I can only say it is a DELIBERATE strategy by the CIC to limit the amount of people coming into their country in mass. Closing down Buffallo was step one to implememting this delay tactic. Atleast with that there is an excuse to hang on to. Nevertheless, my advise to everyone are as follows:

1. Let everyone be patient
2. While waiting for this endless and long wait which might take unknown twists, I advise everyone to be putting a plan B on ground cos truly knows what the end might be.
3. Be happy and live your life outside CIC

Cheers
