As far as I deal with different people of different nationalities, I have found that at this step, everything is shut down due to the closure of Buffalo, and BG checks are not the main factor affecting the delayed process.

I have seen other people having the same delay, and it could not be due to Nationality.

Something has happened. this is not the first time the process is delayed. every 3-4 years, something similar happens.

just relax...

we will go through it all...

I noticed that ppr usually comes every 1st or 3rd week of the month....at least that's what I've been noticing from following the forums. Did anyone notice that? Perhaps they send out ppr every alternating weeks in batches......

I don't really agree to that,,,there's no such pattern...It is the wait that make we people to keep finding these patterns out of randomness.

In my opinion, closing down of Buffalo has nothing to do with the delay. If that was the case, we would see PPRs almost every day considering there are so many applicants in so many time frames (ranging from 2010 to 2012). If they can't process the file from Buffalo, they can definitely process the files from NS. However, nobody is getting. It makes me think if the limit (if any) has reached. If that's the case, it does make sense that CPP-O is just holding on to the files.
And since we have all applied to CIC, knowing that we would have to go through strict security checks, I can't possibly comprehend we would have some serious criminality or security issues.

Are you a QSW? I submitted my federal application in Dec. 2010, also. It sucks that we have to wait to so much. I guess it's because of my nationality that I had to wait so much. I'm not sure.

No, I am under provincial and I have submitted mine to FED on Dec as well.
Med Done back on MAY
Nothing we can do really Other than waiting.
Mine career is almost in hold due to this PPR :(

Any inland applicants wait for PPR in their home country? Is there any risk doing so?

Thanks,
EP

my career is in hold, too... I'm stuck in this dead-end job and cannot move on with my life because my PR is tied to this job I'm currently holding :(

no, i found my self a job before i applied for my CSQ, (the job gave me more points) but i realized 6 months later that my (current) job will be a "nightmare" ..but i didn't know how long the whole process will take to get my csq and the federal part, and i didn't want to change, being afraid to jeopardize everything...by contacting CIC about the new employer....new LMO....possibly new CSQ...and so on...you now what i mean...so...i stayed with my job...and held tight...and looked forward...even i got the PPR recently...i don't want to give my notice yet until i really landed....possibly 2 more weeks....but i can't wait to get the hell out of this job....and change employers..just the employer...Montreal is cool...maybe.....mayyybe next year quebec city...dunno yet...
