I know! the waiting time is a killer!

Do you happen to know what kind of checks are they doing now?

How can I order GCMS notes? and how fast do we received them?

I believe you are not as delayed as we are, since you have filed your federal part later.
in this case, it has turned to be more efficient.

But i think your case is well in the time frame, and you should not be worried.
I have not been into process in the last 19 months since i applied.
and i have heard people never seeing it in their E-cas. it is not a reliable indicator anyway.
But if you went in process, at the very base, you know there is an officer for your case.

In my case, i think there is not. notes, MPs, and E-cas, all say the same thing.
just stop worrying. that wont help at all.

Thanks guys for your advices.

What worries me is that many people already landed, although they applied in february and march of 2012.

I guess there is nothing much to do but wait!

you guys are taking it so easy! good, I will learn from you

Whats there to stress about? 21 months waiting, stressing didnt help .. Chillaxxxxxxx!! :)

I think those immigration officers became bold just like the doctors who see dying people everyday! they have no idea that we are really waiting and that immigrating is big and needs attention!

Well, it is good to have something in horizons, but you should be careful not to built up your life on chances, or unknown.

for those who are already inland, PR wont be a huge difference, except a bit of confidence for planning better.

I keep myself very optimistic, and hopeful, but i do never plan my life on these things. you should have plans, and backup plans, and even 2nd order backup plans. Life is so fragile you cant count on. it is always better to count on yourself instead.

by the time the wait is over, you will find yourself much more stable.

we are on the same boat. sometimes happy, sometimes a bit sad... but thats the way it works. "life is elsewhere" ...

Very wise words. I am thinking along those lines too! Even in the medical request, they said don't sell your assets or quit your job, etc....

Well let's wait and see and good luck to all of us!

Are you a QSW? I submitted my federal application in Dec. 2010, also. It sucks that we have to wait to so much. I guess it's because of my nationality that I had to wait so much. I'm not sure.

i am quite certain its all about nationality....even if your checks are done they keep on holding certain nationalites as if they wamt to fill the quota with other nationalities first...not an expert but sharing what i have noticed so far on forum and word of mouth...
