@ Sharuu.... Well Tuesday is tomorrow. You never know. I sincerely hope you'll get it by end if this month. Are you getting GCMS or contacting MP anytime soon? When did you last get your GCMS?

For 2012 applicants, 10 month timeline seems reasonable. Right now, Nov2011-Jan 2012 are getting PPR so I think 10 months should be what you should be looking forward for. Getting GCMS soon?

well, the earliest date i can find is 2nd May 2012 at 5.34pm .... "date created" it states.... (btw i cannot find any entry stating the exact word "Transfer(ered)"...just wanted to mention this...

man you should be hearing within a week or two time...

Reason being recently another QSW Smokhtari got the PPR and his timeline was just like yours. I mean he applied a month before you and went in process about 3 weeks before you so perhaps this shows things are moving....if your case is simple enough, PPR should be on its way...

group name and group # are blank, it definitely has been in buffalo, detroit was given as secondary office, and has been in Ottawa since the earliest date (created 2nd may 2012), but no transfer date. last notes: New Zealand and RCMP Check OK, appears RFV, RPRF paid

thats it....

When were these notes made? The note you mention just says that all is good and whenever they next review your file you should get PPR. If this was in May, I think you should be getting PPR in september only! :)

@sharuu

the notes were made 12.July. we'll see when i get an answer, i'll be distracted for a while here, we're getting busy at work.

@suduko

i had several employers, but all of them in europe, (Paris, London area, Germany, Austria) except the far away New Zealand, but thats commonwealth anyway, so,...i guess they're "working together" with the canadians...

Initially it was 10 month, but now as with more files in Ottawa they have increased it.

Dont even count December. We just have 2 more months at this point, I want to be optimistic but doesnt look good for pre sept applicants.

@ guys working in Canada....

I may get a job offer in Alberta very soon. I'm unnder AINP. I have a few queries;

1. Can the prospective employer apply for a work permit for me? How complex and time consuming is the process? I am working in the US and that I have never been to Canada before.

2. If say I get to work in Alberta eventually, how will it affect my PR application process? I mean the change in place, position and travel history. Working in Alberta itself won't harm as I am an AINP nominee.

Any thoughts guys?

Thanks.

Hi all,
I need to know if someone could help or have same issue as me.
I got provincial nominee certificate and I applied for PR in Sep. 2011.
Till June I didn't get a file number especially that I knew that Buffalo office is closed.
I send many e-mails to Ottawa in June never get any answer back.
My lawyer applied for ATIP application and the result of it didn't show any records regarding my PR application.
I have prove that my application was delivered by the Courier and I have prove from the bank that the fees was processed in October 2011.
Now there is no way to communicate with Ottawa office or get hold of someone that could help, even MY MP told me that he can't do nothing the lawyer can't do.

I need to know what you could be done in this situation, if there any other has the same problem.
Is there any way to get my complain higher.
