I have seen May transferred applicants getting PPR from Ottawa, so I dont expect anything to hear from them before October and November. I think I will wait to ask for another GCMS, I hope people start getting PPR in September so it gives others hopes as well.

lets hope for the best Sharu....

so many things are attached to PR that the wait is becoming tough now....

good luck to everyone

Yes, its pretty tough. I really hope we get PPR as soon as possible. At this point, its going to be more of a relief than happiness!!

yeah you are right....

have ypou seen the GCMS from lepatissier07

Please check the other thread :

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/cppottawa-processing-time-after-buffalo-closing-t108814.0.html;msg1729903#msg1729903

well he went to in process due to Eligibility passed and then the other checks were initiated....that's what I wanted to know always.....

I am also QSW and in process since 17 May...so I am sure my checks are in process... For Buffalo, I think In process meant end of all checks.

That explains why my friend got the additional document like Police Certificates request when she went to In Process......

Lol.. Didnt I say that before? In Process in Buffalo means PPR is on the way very soon. All checks are initiated once AOR is issued, thats why some people get RCMP request around that time. When was the last time you requested GCMS?

His checks were started in feb when AOR was issued and were completed and passed in May-June and that is the time when he went In Process. It didnt get initiated when he went In Process.

You could have gotten in process for the reason that your eligibility was passed, and thats it.

I think a VO hasnt been assigned to your case.. If the file got transferred on july 7th and its been 2 months it shouldnt be long before they review it. When eligiblity is passed your ecas should go In Process, thats what happened for my case. Wait for October and probably get another GCMS and it should provide more clarity.

1. Just the transfer means nothing has been done at Ottawa about your case
2. Thats when a deadline or a due date is given when to next review it. If Ottawa hasnt looked at your case, therefore, should not have a due date under application assignment
3. Group name signifies just a similar number of cases batched together. Something like PR-FINAL REVIEW.

i am going to do second gcms and first mp shortly. i pray there is a group number assigned in my 2nd gcms. and the mp request will push cic to go a step further.

I hope it works out.. Atleast it seems they have started giving our PPR, so it shouldnt be long.
