Not sure if it helps, but you can call the call center to find out where ur application is rightnow. I finally ran out of patience so I made a call, they said it was in Ottawa now, but they didnt have access to their system. So they couldn't tell me what the status was.

I phoned call center too.they said file should be in ottawa, don't know how long it going to take for pr and are swamped.

The people who contacted Buffalo after it got closed got an email stating not to contact Ottawa before 60 days. Now, when does the 60 day limit start? 60 days from May 29th or the day when your file got transferred?

Perhaps I should call to call centre tomorrow. BTW, what's MP? Medical Practitioner? If not, how can I find who is my MP?

Member of Parliament .. they should have one for your area!

I think its great if you can find out if and when your file got transferred then you can estimate the time when you can hear next!

Have you contacted your MP recently regarding your case? I see you are a March applicant and medicals in sept, same as myself! I saw April Applicants whose ECAS was App Received and they contacted their MP to find out their file is in ottawa and their background checks have just been started!

You application was tranferred to Ottawa before they shutted down the buffalo VO, right? I think u should contact them again, don't wait. We all have been waiting long enough.
