My due date is Sept. 22 2012. And the note was generated on June 25 2012. I'm going to extend my work permit which expires in Sept 18. Hopefully, something good happens before that. But I doubt it.

The latest note made was about AOR and medical by Sept 23 2011.

When was your file received at Ottawa?

Are you extending the work permit using PNP certificate?

Yes, I'm going to extend my WP using AINP letter as well as medical receipt. I'm also going to ask them to get the WP for my spouse too Will see how that goes.

If you are talking about my application, it was received on May 20, 2011.

It seems they have started verifying and looking for missing docs so you shall me hearing soon. Its been 2 months since they got your file. The sept due date was given when the file was at ottawa?

My file was in Buffalo. It hasn't been transferred to Ottawa yet. At least, the GCMS notes that I got last week didn't say anything about transfer. I don't know where my file is. What I meant was that my application was originally received on May 20, 2011. Sorry for confusion.

Oh..thats why I thought you didnt hear anything from Ottawa after sitting 2 months over there. Hyphen heard from Buffalo and he applied in April 2011, so if they are transferring by month you should hear something next month?

Its upto you.. The way I think is, its not costing anything and it keeps you updated about your file. I dont think there is anything to lose and it gives you some peace as well.

Have you already applied for your work permit? If not, you should sooner than later as your current is expiring in Sept isnt it? Just 6 weeks to go.

I am going to this afternoon. I need to get the job offer letter from my manager. Everything else is ready to go.

Today received letter( emailed Scan copy ) from Ottawa office. they just want to know the current location or address of my brother in law . may be I did some mistake on writing his address in forms .....
It's good to know that someone is working on our files . They gave me 30 days to wrie them back with requested information

Ok. I submitted my application for WP extension this afternoon. Has anyone in this thread done WP extension? Any idea how long it takes?

I submitted it electronically.
