still in transition? how can it take so long to move some boxes? did they use Fedex?

I was told it will take 6-8 weeks to transfer from Buffalo to Ottawa. Most people have due dates in September, I wonder if that means 3 months from the file was transferred. So, lets say my file was transferred on June1st, so my date of transfer is sept1st?

This means that the next time your file will be brought forward of the visa officer it will be on Sept 21st...

So does it also means that till September 21st they wont open my file at all?

My Immigration process started in March this year and medical was done in the end of may, don't you think that it would be too early to ask for GCMS notes???

In your GCMS Notes, which date is the created file date. I believe your due date of sept 21st, might just be 1 year from that date! If that is the case, it means they are hoping to finalize your case by then!

Hi All,

I am going to apply for my GCMS note. I am selecting the below fields in my application-
1. Privacy Act
2. E-mail to receive the note
3.Electronic files-Status of an application
4. Location---I am guessing my file is in CPP-Ottawa. Should I use "CPP-Ottawa" in location field?

Also could anyone pls share the e-mail format they have used to make the request at ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca

thanks a bunch
