@ Sharuu.....Are these applicants in any of these threads? Are they all in USA/Canada?Also, what is their categories? Certainly encouraging! Hope we're next.sharuu said:3-4 applicants got PPR today who applied in Jan 2012!!
Well, it seems they applied in Sydney, Nova Scotia. It makes me more worried. Canadian immigration has a tendency to forget the streams that left behindssharuu said:3-4 applicants got PPR today who applied in Jan 2012!!
No not on this thread. I dont know about the encouraging part, but its good you see a bright side. What I think it sept 1st, all the files will be transferred from Buffalo to Ottawa and then only they will start processing our files. So, these 2012 applicants will be before us and so they will be in queue before us. That is why they are getting PPRs before us, while we are in TRANSIT ..Edmontonbound said:@ Sharuu.....Are these applicants in any of these threads? @ Sharuu.....why do you think that the 2011 applications will be processed after the 2012 applications? I guess it is a case by case basis. The Jan 2012 applicants may have had straight forward applications.sharuu said:No not on this thread. I dont know about the encouraging part, but its good you see a bright side. Lets talk about the queue and once again this is just my uderstanding. Most 2012 applicants were issued AOR and their file was sent to Ottawa for further processing. Lets say someone in Jan got AOR in march and then sent to ottawa. First come first serve basis, they will be in queue. The files sent from Buffalo to Ottawa will come around august-sept, therefore, the 2012 applicants will be first in queue and there fore you see them getting PPR. Nova Scotia is just a processing centre as was Ottawa when Buffalo was open. Once they issue AOR, they transfer the files to Ottawa I believe. Then the processing centre's work is completed and the reason they are quicker is because they have no backlog.curt_cobain said:Hi Sharuu,
Why those 2012 applicants will be in the same queue with buffalo applicants, aren't they supposed to process in Sydney, Nova-Scotia case processing center? I thought 2012 applications and before 2012 buffalo applications are processed in parallel and Sydney is fast as CPP-Ottawa will not start working on those transferred files before Sept 01, 2012.
Thanks
Sorry, I misunderstood. I was not questioning you, what you said was logical. I was not updated they could forward the 2012 Sydney applicants to CPP-Ottawa for further processing and give them executive service ;D. Why put extra burden on CPP-Ottawa? Again I am not updated with Sydney case processing center and how it works. Thanks for clarifying my question.sharuu said:Lets talk about the queue and once again this is just my uderstanding.
