Today I called the call center and they told me that my application still in buffalo.

Really? Did you not ask the rep that Buffalo is closed how can the file still be there?

Don't put your finger deep in Buffalo CIC's aXX too much okay? they will stop answering. You applied, they are working, they have your phone, email then just wait and see.

I think it should be a good time for you to apply for GCMS Notes.. it should provide more clarity in regard to where your file is?

My medical report received by Ottawa on May 14, 2012. So far no “Medical received” in my ECAS. Any thought about this?

I am in the USA. I called CIC with the number 613-944-4000 (in the National Capital Region and outside Canada), I selected “immigration service” button but it said the toll free in not available in your region. How to contact CIO outside of Canada? Thanks.

Exactly PNP's are preassesed...I wonder why are we not on priority? Why cant they just concentrate on the backlogs (march-june 2011 applicant)

I am December 2012 Applicant and still waiting for PPR request...

Nope.. for PNP Applicants there are only 2 reasons to get rejected, medical or security checked. So, medical exams have been cleared security check should be the only thing awaiting. But, it seems most applicants from feb-march are waiting so nothing new!

I would not worry about medicals received not on ECAS yet. It takes sometime and now with the extra load it might take a while. What you might do is, scan a copy of your medical receipt and email ottawa indicating that you have done medicals.

I think its better if you ask someone who is in USA how they contacted the call center as I have no idea about it

When did you do your medicals, I believe their 1 year should be up soon? Hopefully you work permit is valid so there should not be an issue over there?

I have not gotten my GCMS Note yet.. hopefully sometime this week I will get it. I will share if any updates have been done!

My medical will be expiring on 18th of July, i have already extended my work permit which was expiring on May 26th. When did you do your medical by the way..

I did my medicals last september so another 3 months.. How did you extend the work permit, used the nominee certificate and when is it expiring now? I think we should hopefully hear before this year ends... atleast!!!

I applied for extension online, the system asked me for PNP certificate and medical receipts and i got closed work permit.. but i wanted open work permit because the WP i had was Post Graduation WP and it was issued for two years because of my passsport expiration.. then i applied via paper with cover letter and got open work permit for one year and it took 1 month to process..
