BUFFALO APPLICANTS - File transferred to other VO due to Buffalo closing down

I applied for PR to buffalo office through the PNP Ontario program.
My lawyer sent my file the 3rd of October 2011.
I know that the office in buffalo Is closing;
Till now I didn't receive a file number or any other clue about my file;
Could anyone kindly tell me if this is normal and what the time frame is?
I called my lawyer to check about my file; she informed that they don't answer her query's lately.
And she advised me to wait few more weeks.

You have applied for GCMS, right? Once you get them have a look under Medical section!

Is anyone's status IN PROCESS or is it still App Received for everyone?

Thanks sharuu... but I'm confused which one to choose on the form:

1. Access to Information Act or Privacy Act?
2. Electronic Files or Physical Files? Which one within them should I select? Status of an application, Immigration file, temporary residence, medical file, etc... should I select all?

My ecas status still says:

"We received your application for permanent residence on February xx, 2012.

Medical results have been received. "

Do you mean Mar - May 2012? If so, absolutely not... There's plenty of Feb 2012 applicants in this forum who haven't had their ecas changed to in process yet, let alone have the PPR but it seems that those who did their medicals in March 2012 got their PPR already from Detroit... Karlzw and hooky player, for example...

Nothing to do with us at all, as they were all FSW applicants and a lot of older applicants!

It seems a lot of applicants are still waiting and most of them have exceeded the limit of 14 months. I think the process now is ottawa finalises your application and then transfers to detroit who will then issue PPR. Most people who got PPR have had In Process as their ECAS Status so wait for that status to come

I chose Access to information act..??? Should I expect em or no as I didn't select privacy act?
