BUFFALO APPLICANTS - File transferred to other VO due to Buffalo closing down

So June 30th should be the date where Immigration stops working.. That is the last date when someone gets PPR, so if you dont get PPR in june file has been transferred somewhere! However, I think with those who are in PROCESS shall get the PPR in june as whats the point of changing ecas status if you are transferring? I dont remember anyone who got transferred to ottawa with their ecas changing to in process?

Hopefully, within the next 2 weeks we might hear something!!

I think it might be case to case basis. Some VO's would update the ECAS but some wouldn't bother or probably late. What matters most is for them not to forget sending email or informing the applicant about the PPR.

If our files are still in Buffalo, they have to finish it before the end of the month. I guess you are not the only March applicant that's waiting for PPR. So, March and April applicants will get it at the same time ( I assume) and then they will instruct us to send the passport to another visa office.

Duh, I am making predictions what's gonna happen next. Maybe becuase I am already going gaga with this Permanent Residency thingy

Applications that are currently at the Buffalo visa office will be transferred to CPP-O for final processing. Applicants are not required to contact CPP-O to ensure their application has been transferred. Applicants will be contacted at the next stage of processing or once a final decision has been made.

I think there is nothing more than speculation that can be done until we receive our GCMS Notes. There have been applicants who have received emails about transfer to ottawa so I think that is why I am still at Buffalo

did you order GCMS to check what status you are? what did GCMS SAY, IF YOU REQUESTED.

Nope. I dont have open work permit. But even if I dont get my PR sooner, I will apply for that job and tell them my situation :

did you order GCMS to check what status you are? what did GCMS SAY, IF YOU REQUESTED.

I will be getting GCMS notes on the first week of July.

Nope. I dont have open work permit. But even if I dont get my PR sooner, I will apply for that job and tell them my situation :

Great! Is it at least safe to assume that we might get the PPR within this year?
