What is the best timing to conduct GCMS? For instance, how many months passed since application received, or home many weeks passed since medical done, etc?

what is the exact step by step to do GCMS? What is the website, how much to pay? credit card okay? how long to get result? I am in the US, anything I need to know compared to the guys in Canada?
i personally never applied for GCMS, so sry, can't help u. since u r chinese, go约克论坛的移民版,里面有一堆info。

Got a standard reply back from Ottawa that they can not provide a time when my file would be complete. The wait continues! >:(

Just called CIC and they said if my file has been transferred to Ottawa I would have gotten an email. If it did not that means Buffalo still has my file... Going by that has anyone received PPR from Ottawa or should we all go with the belief that our files are in Buffalo ?

What the heck happened?

I mean, why is it taking so long then?

So based on what you're saying, my file wasn't transferred too, because I didnt get any email from CIC pertaining to a transfer.
But CIC website said that Buffalo office is already closed so how can they still process our immigration application. As what I understand, the files for immigration were transferred to CPP-Ottawa. That doesnt make any sense.

Its not closed.. if it was closed how could it be issuing PPR and sending even general emails. It is officially closing August 27th

Well, I just referred it to the CIC- buffalo site I included with my post. Why would they indicate that they transferred visa services to other North American VO's. And for PR applications, they referred to CPP-Ottawa? Unless they are contradicting what they are saying? Or it might be the way I comprehend what they put on the website. Hmmm...

The Canadian Consulate in Buffalo will close Aug. 27, employees learned Tuesday.

The immigration section, which employs about 45 people, will close in 30 days, ...
- 30 days from May 30th will be this last week of June. I hope that these people will speed up the process of the remaining files left for them to do before it closes.

and the remaining 30 employees who work in trade, public affairs, administration and other sections of the consulate will lose their jobs in the last week of August, an employee who attended Tuesday’s meeting told The Buffalo News.
- These employees as specified are not working under immigration section will be the ones remaining to work till the last week of August

So June 30th should be the date where Immigration stops working.. That is the last date when someone gets PPR, so if you dont get PPR in june file has been transferred somewhere! However, I think with those who are in PROCESS shall get the PPR in june as whats the point of changing ecas status if you are transferring? I dont remember anyone who got transferred to ottawa with their ecas changing to in process?

Hopefully, within the next 2 weeks we might hear something!!
