You mentioned that your Bring forward date was sep 22nd on the last GCMS notes, lets see if its the same when you get the notes this time?

Got a response from MP today. It was transferred to Ottawa on July 7, 2012.

Same date as yours, sharuu.

They haven't started processing it yet though. Hopefully they will soon.

I contacted them via email.

Now, I only asked where my file was.

I wasn't sure they'd be useful, but it was a huge help!

So I highly recommend you contact your MP.

I could have asked more but just got GCMS at that time when I contacted them.

A good question to ask your MP would be is when is your next bring forward date. That should give you a good idea when you should be expecting something!

I emailed him using my work email address so I don't have the exact draft at the moment but basically I gave him my name and UCID.

I explained the situation that I was desperate because the Buffalo VO was closed down, don't know where my file is,

and don't know what's going to happen and what to do thing like that.

Finally asked if they can help me to find out what's going on and where my file is on behalf of myself.

Then I got a response that they could look into it and might take about a week.

So I gave them additional info about myself such as date of birth, place of birth, etc pretty much what you enter on ecas.

And after 5 business days, I got the response.

I guess you should ask them when is your next bring forward date. I didn't ask but agree that it's a good question to ask as sharuu pointed out.

Good luck and please keep us updated when you get a response from your MP.

Once said and done and we are all PRs, I think I will miss coming here interacting with people! I know its a tough time for us but its enjoyable at the same time. We are all in the same boat, waited for 15 months or more and can actually understand each other's situation really well.

Yes I did, I will get it soon. Though I think I am going to ask my MP. It won't hurt to ask them or should I just wait until i get my GCMS?
