BUFFALO APPLICANTS - File transferred to other VO due to Buffalo closing down

Just curious to know..........

Do anybody know when CIC starts to count their processing time. Is is when the application was received on ECAS or when they sent your file number. In my case Ecas shows application received Nov 16, 2011 but I got file number on March 29, 2012. I want to know if I should start counting my 16 months from Nov 2011 or March 2012.

one question... when did you last get your GCMS notes and was the Security assessment 'not started' or just BLANK?

thanks jonmonc..i got it in mid august all process "Not Started" only medicals received.. hold on everyone will be done soon...dont worry much on GCMS...as far as my case concerned GCMS,CIC ecase all are useless...they dont help in anyway.. i didnt read too much into my ecas or gcms..

you never know you wilil have yours coming may be this evening also but from my personal experience never sync timeline with other applicants...i am telling this so that we dont worry on this...i was doing it in earlier...applicants submitted in feb was given ppr in May itself...4-5months all done..but then i understood each every application is different and its case by case...just wait patiently you will be done...good luck mate...dont worry

group # and name is blank.. no bring forward date in GCMS..my notes is pretty much empty dude...no information there except for medcials nothing updated there all others "Not STarted" i got this in August
but just on friday i applied another notes lets c how that comes...and wht info it has that might help lot of ppl

nima514, would you mind telling us what is your latest status on MyCIC? Is your application "in process" or "Medical received on ...."?

My CIC status has been In Process since Feb. 2012 and of course the Meidlca results have been received note has been there since Oct. 2011.
I am on a waiting list in Ottawa.

Hi folks,

I just got my GCMS notes today. I see that in my assessment section my Security was updated from 'Not Started' to BLANK... Does anyone know what that means? Is that a good thing? Any input would help.

My Criminality is still 'in process'... They have received my Fingerprinting records but haven't updated their database yet. Hope that will be resolved soon.

Hi jonmonc! What is the written behind the Group Name key on page 1 of your GCMS notes? mine is "PR-Final Review".
