BUFFALO APPLICANTS - File transferred to other VO due to Buffalo closing down

Hi everyone. I am new to this forum, and would like to know your opinion about the following.

I have applied to CIC under this category in early March 2012, and submitted my medicals in early May 2012. However, with the closure of Buffalo my application has been transferred to CPP-Ottawa. When do you think is the estimated response time?

That's good news to me because I am also a July 7 transfer. I am apparently on a waiting list for processing. According to the office of the MP.

nima514, would you mind telling us what is your latest status on MyCIC? Is your application "in process" or "Medical received on ...."?

Hi folks,

I just got my GCMS notes today. I see that in my assessment section my Security was updated from 'Not Started' to BLANK... Does anyone know what that means? Is that a good thing? Any input would help.

My Criminality is still 'in process'... They have received my Fingerprinting records but haven't updated their database yet. Hope that will be resolved soon.

It's not for everyone. I have a very common first name , last name combo so perhaps I had too. If they haven't requested for it.... U probably don't have to.

i doubt you are in the transfered batch... ppl who submitted to nova scotia after january the file directly went to CPP-O. you should have received email for medicals and AOR stating file opened in buffalo rpc etc...but thats just for official communication in reality the file dont go to buffalo... you might not be having the saem timeline as what others and i i have in this forum...you might even get ahead of us...keep waiting...we wil reach the target soon!!

the wait is over.... atlast...10months only...lucky to get things this quicker...got that much awaited email this morning at 9.04am.... flying to Detroit to get my visa stamped

thanks cvd222... it some times is a tricky process...i strongly believe my address change actually worked they have put my file somehwere and when i updated change of address thats when they started processing i guess...in 2-3mnths thats done irony cic site shows "Application Received" GCMS notes says no process started.... one hell of a process may be

one question... when did you last get your GCMS notes and was the Security assessment 'not started' or just BLANK?
