Didnt your PNP Certificate was based on your current employer? I think we are not allowed to change the employer until we get PR!

Yes I applied PNP uner my current company. I have called call center, people there said I can change jobs, just need to get a new work permit. Then hand in all the updated files. Just follow their steps and get extra work on PR.

earlier it used to take 6 months to renew WP. now it is reduced to 39 days. all these factors needs to discuss with your new employer before accepting offer.

I suggest to wait for you PR and then change the job. I guess by next year mid all cases should be cleared as there are no new applications are accepting right now..

I really dont like my current job. My manager treats me as retarded, and the new company is a very very good one. It's so hard to get in this company. It will be so good for my future. I really dont want to lose this chance. Just dont know why we are so bad luck at PR.

Is your current employment mentioned in the PNP certificate? Could you pls hide the information and post a concise part (where employment is mentioned) from the certificate in this forum.

As long you have covered all your bases, just make sure you do not make a rash decision. Good Luck

I think either it is PNP or QSW or FSW..all needs to be processed by Federal. they wanted to clean up all the old applications.
as PNP is priority one they may get cleared soon. that is reason for the temporary pause.

if I am correct. Ottawa is in process of screening and sending all applications to different VO's. I may be wrong..

This is a bit more complicated than the assumption. I used to know that information, never thought it could pave the way for our PR soon. This may reduce the lead time for FSW (another assumption ;D).

No worries, we are like a family here. We used to be very cheerful. After seeing your timeline I feel very sorry for you. I hope they speed up the processing of your file :).

With no new applications for FSW and Family Class it will give VO more time to evaluate current cases along with PNP cases as well. Sydney is doing the initial screening and then sending it to Ottawa as well. The timeline has started to increase with Ottawa with the high workload. First when people applied to Ottawa they said processing would be done at 10 months, now 15 months.

CEC applicants needed 2 years work exp. now they need only 1 year, therefore, more applications and in quicker time..

For CEC, isn't it always that way? If the applicants graduate from any Canadian school, they need one year Canadian work experience and for others it requires 2 years. Do they change the rule and make it one year for every one?

Yup.. so skilled workers need 1 year of experience now than 2. A lot more applications now will start coming in...
