most of us are already in process...does that mean they keep us in process for 2 years before getting to our files, determining points and asking for medical and then putting us through security checks?
Khan101 said:i say 1- we see if anyone else gets a reply like this - to see if its a legit post from the guy who posted it.
2- reapply for your FBI certs again. I'm sending my fingerprints monday. Just in case CIC asks again. (is this a good idea?)
3- we have already gone through more than a year from application date now. Even if that post is legit, we have another 10 months(?) to go - as opposed to -whatever options you guys have.
Please comment guys.

Generally the time line is fake. I was told 18 months on my AOR , but right now i have past 19 months and no sing even only of medical. So time line is of no use.Khan101 said:is that guy in that post talking about buffalo office? and buffalo office only?
CIC still says 17 months.
send case specific inquiry and see what reply you get. I'm waiting for mine.
ya - i have seen those numbers somewhere myself on CIC website - can't remember where. (unless i'm confusing up something). I thought it was from before sometime though. Oh i don't know.anuM said:the numbers are on their website, if u dig hard enough.. not too long ago, vermas has posted a link to a spreadsheet like document with all the applicantion numbers broken down by category and visa office..
and briefs they give the media regarding immigration policy always cite numbers..
Time line is for "most Applications" or as they call it "80% processed" in a time frame. But what Ive seen so far is 80% NOT processed.canadaforall said:Generally the time line is fake. IN my opinion, the mail has nothing to do. It might still be processed earlier, the best thing is to wait.
Things are going start moving fast in May and June. After all Post June applicants and not so many so we pre-June will also be processed, latest for us to g et visas should be in 2012.
Wish us good luck.
