i feel restless just waiting.. wondering if theres something else i can do :-(.... cant concentrate on work, thinking about how long this process could potentially drag on for

This is very irresponsible behaviour of the Canadian Government in general and CIC in specific. They should have done proper planning when they announced 38 occupations and new guidelines in 2008. They are really playing with the emotions and lives of thousands of applicants. Too bad it couldn't become a poll agenda.

anum and vermas. Same boat here.

I don't think it's a matter Canadian govt would care about a whole lot - unless applicants like us could vote in local elections - which of course we cant:)

All we can do is what we're already doing - suck it and man up. I can be patient no problem - but i have a job i have to leave soon - and i think my kids will still be in high school when i'll be retiring -thanks to minister Kenny- cz i can't get married either :) believe me i understand your pain.

I agree with u , it is really too bad. They keep wasting our time and you can not even make another plan for your family. If we can imagine that you apply when you are 40 and you finally move to Canada at 47, you have spent a good deal of your time thinking only of the immigration program. what a time waster.

I am still hanging in and waiting only because of t he money i have invested in it, if not i will just let it go.

I wish it were free, i would have withdrawn the application.

Guys
can u apply for Australia or new Zeeland ? and wait for Canada also in parallel process

i cant see why not.. but i'm already in canada.. and australia/new zealand is not an option for me...

I have a question.
If you could apply for canadian experience class while ur application is already in process under FSW category.
What are the pros and cons

Thanks

Yes, you can

do you know if they'll cancel one of the applications? or when a certain one gets to a further stage they merge them at some point?

^^^ As par the reply I rcvd from Buffalo and opportunities Ontario, the VO doesn't cancel u r app, but you might not get PR card till you withdraw your outstanding application.

thanks that helps loads!

I have applied under FSW 2 (LMO category) and my job(Marketing Manager) was Type O level. Now I am getting JOB of TYPE B i.e. manager at gas station. So my question is that does it effect my file which is in process in buffalo because of change of job from high level to low level...
