to glowingheart,
i think ur "in process" is before most of us in this thread, coz ur visa office is sydney , not buffalo

I am also currently in Canada under work permit and been here for 2 years now.
I started the whole process of PR in Jan 2010, got my 2nd AOR from Buffalo in Oct 13, 2010 and until now my e-cas is RBVO
I guess the processing depends on the Visa Officer who is handling our case plus the background checks that they need to do before the issuance of MR...
maybe I am wrong but whatever basis they have to move each and every file to the next stage is really WEIRD!! :o

Good luck to all of us and keep the hope alive! :D

Just curious about the in process and 2 AOR
Im currently living in Canada on work permit been here for the last 3 years
Just want to know if my in process before some older applications could be cause Im in Canada and the other are in the US?

Sorry but beleive it ornot is Buffalo
I applied to the CIO in Sidney and then sent full docs and had file transfered to Buffalo NY

If you ask me it should be with in Canada cause that way the aliviate all the other visa offices
But no its in the US

The irony is that I work acrross the street from the Inmigration Office in Calgary and had to send my initial application to the other end of the country and the full set to another country when i could just dropped it in on my way to work

:( sorry have no Idea how they work im turning nuts here trying to think when my meds are going to be requested

I am just curious, I am seeing other friends mentioned In process status after 2nd AOR. Is there any difference between status "Inprocess" and "Received_by Visa Office" or both are same?

What's next after Inprocess/Received by visa office - is it Medica request?

Please click on the following link to know the explanations:

Cheers...

Thanks GlowingHeart. Thats the link by captain.

BFD based status reporting is something that the VOs send to the CIC. It is their status reporting process to show which is the BFD that they are processing currently. Thats internal data, so we would not have access to it.

In reality from what I see with the trend, I think Nov AOR ppl would get their Medicals by ~May/June. You can calculate yours with that! (this is just a trend that i noticed)

Thnks for bfd explanation ..
If people with April /may AOR are just going into process now , the hope of us with a OCt/nov AOR going into process and getting Medical requests by may/June is slightly over optimistic .. Unless the gcms helps really speed up things .. And then theres the yearly quota of 20000 got buffalo to be mindful of ...

Well i dnt think it is based on 2nd AOR.It depends upon the priority/timing the file was transferred to visa office.
as there are many who just gt 2nd AOR soon wks after their file was transfered to visa office and some got after months. So basically i think this is from the time when the file was transferred to VO.
