My e-cas continues to show "In Process" since 19 October 2010. Neither request for addl docs nor medical instructions have been received.

good luck to all..

Hi pearl2010,

Seeing on this forum that applicants whose file have been "In Process" since May/June 2010 have been waiting for the Medical Instructions, I am thinking of sending the enquiry towards Feb end. Buffalo seem to have just started moving. One applicant of May/June 2010 received his MI last week. Lets hope it opens flood gates for others too.

Cheers...

Hi vermas,

yes,gud to send enquiry by feb end.hope u receive positive update before that :)

Here, we Buffalo applicants don't have any idea as on what basis or which months applications are being processed ,but ND VO is the best, they r processing according to file trnsfer date from CIO to ND.This helps the ND applicants to track as when their file would be reviewed.

As u have mentioned Lets hope it opens flood gates for others too

hey people, i need advice.. i just saw this on the cic website regarding federal skilled worker eligibilty
Skilled workers and professionals: Who can apply—Arranged employment
"
If you have an offer of permanent employment from a Canadian employer, it can improve your chances of having your federal skilled worker application approved.

Depending on your circumstances, the requirements for a valid offer of employment are different.

1) If you are currently working in Canada:

your current employer must have made an offer to give you a permanent job if you are accepted as a federal skilled worker, and
your temporary work permit must be valid both when you apply for a permanent resident visa and when the visa is issued. "

my question is
1. since when did they stipulate that your temporary work permit needs to stay valid till visa issuance?
2. do they extend work permits if your case is in queue at a visa office?
3. what if my work permit expires by visa issuance time , but i'm waiting for it outside canada?

thanks in advance...
anyone else face this problem?

also does anyone know if theres any restrictions on salary if you are applying under arranged employment category i.e FWS2 ?
i.e is it a problem if u r underpaid?

I sent an enquiry to Buffalo VO on Friday regarding Medical Instructions and got following reply today:

The medical forms will be sent when the application reaches the appropriate stage in processing.

In other words: Keep guessing and waiting...

i'm looking at other posts and it looks like poeple who received second aor from buffalo in july are now going "in process" .. if processing is linear, it means all of us who got our AOR's in october and after quite a bit of wait for our files to actually go into process.
man this sucks

Yes, agree, it really sucks. Today, its 15 months since CIO,NS received my initial application (09 Nov 2009). Can't plan any thing regarding career moves, further education, investments, car, marriage etc. etc. Good that we have this forum to vent out our frustrations...
