Thanks for responding anne55. I will include the baby in the applicaition but ..

But do I need to show that the baby is going to travel with me?

This way I might not show up the raise in funds etc instead travel to canada and then later start the baby's PR process.

Either way .. canada and US does give dual citizenship

Hi candiur,
I guess you need to inform the VO soon as the baby is born, you might need to include him/her in the application..

Good luck! :)

I believe that there is a specific form in the application kit that you need to sign in case one or some of the family members will not accompany you in canada...you can always review the their kit. ;)

I guess once your application is approved the baby will also be a permanent resident.
seniors correct me if im wrong, but that's just base on my own understanding reading CIC website most of the time... :D :D

Godspeed!

It definitely correlates with a region where applicant resides - those several people who I know from Vancouver, BC - all where transferred from Buffalo to Seattle. There might be other additional reasons of course..
And Buffalo transfers the files to other visa offices just to speed up the processing. The volume of applications in Buffalo (being the Regional Processing Centre) is very high and they are not able to handle it all alone.

Here is the updated list.

Name Buffalo AOR Date
SMUPK1 – 13 Aug
Vermas – 24 Sep
USH1B - 24 Sep File transferred to LA on 20 Oct
pearl2010 – 28 Sep - File transferred to LA on 13 Oct
Atowfiq – 29 Sep
anuM - 8 Oct
candiur - 12 Oct
vitaliy_doctor - 12 Oct
ECLIPSE - 13 Oct
zapped - 13 Oct
anne55 - 13 Oct
gauravbt - 20 Oct

Good luck to all....

The baby will get the PR but it will cost the $550+450 right.

initial fees for children below 18 is $150 CAD not $550.
RPRF fees for adults is 450 but for babies this is free of cost to my knowledge!
Good luck!

@13042010 - My bad on asking. This is a real break to the un-necessary stress I was sarrying since 2 - 3 weeks.

Planning on what to do. The should I / should I not questions.

Hi guys... I am waiting for mine as well. Reached Buffalo, June 7.
I am wondering why some applications were transferred to other visa offices and why some were not - I am just looking the list in this posting that at one period/month when Buffalo received the application not all were transferreed - and why does it select LA or NY office - is that the region where the applicant resides?
anyone has any clue.
thnks
Congrats to everyone that received second aor and good luck to the rest

Mine doc got recd at Buffalo on June 17th. It means i should be receiving mine may be after week or two of yours. Any ways fast processing days seems like are now over and this will might take from filing to stamping easliy around 2 years.

Hang in there adnantahir...that's is true - all Buffalo applicants are in the "longer" wait as others said in many postings that BUffalo received many more applications compared to other visa office - but hopefully the whole process will not take 2 years....

I will share the info when I receive my second AOR...

HI Guys congrates to whom recieved 2nd AOR after a long wait.
I have one confusion. I have some updates in my application and i have now PCC from FBI so should i submit buffalo VO or have to wait till they transfer my file to NY VO....
I have the same Question.Anyone?

pls reply soon above question asap?

If you have already received the second AOR with new file number from Buffalo (if so, when did you get it), please send new information and updates to Buffalo VO quoting your new file number, name and date of birth in the subject line. All files are not transferred to other VOs, therefore don't wait. Its good to have new/updated info on the file when Visa Officer reviews it.

to vermas: i noticed your other posts said your file is in process at buffalo. does your status on cic application tracker show "in process" ?
thanks

Hello Anisha,

My e-cas status is still "Received by Visa office". What I meant in the other post is that my file is pending/being processed or in action with Buffalo VO.

Cheers...

Sorry to bug people, but i've been looking at cases on trackitt and here, and i see it takes an average of 13- 15 months for people to get their PPR after getting second AOR? Am I right or am i overestimating?
Its highly disheartening..... can anyone cheer me up with stories of fast PPR processing at buffalo ? :'(

thanks loads
anisha
