Buffalo has already updated their time to 22 months or so

They can grab your file and finish it in 3 months so for most of us this means 9 more months or so
That puts us in 2012

Kindly copy/paste exact contents of the mail.

Thanks,

I need some advice..

We applied for PR already and its been 16 months now...when we applied my job is not skilled.
Right now I just received my skilled workpermit this month...now i'm planning to change my employer with skilled job.

Question: Is it okey to change employer that soon? Is there any affect in our PR application?

Thank you.

Do you know who ?????

This weekend:

2 years since App Filed at CIO
2 months of post-Med Security Clearance at VO
500 days since App Filed at VO (~16.5 months)

Buffalo Processing Time:

15 months at the end of 2nd Quarter 2010 (http://bit.ly/nNQHY6)
17 months at the end of 3rd Quarter 2010 (http://bit.ly/oZ6RIT)
19 months at the end of 1st Quarter 2011 (http://bit.ly/q90gQF)
21 months at the end of 2nd Quarter 2011 (CIC website as of today)

so It appears Buffalo is adding at least 6 months of delay per year in app processing ... projection:

27 months at the end of 2nd Quarter 2012

at 27 months on July 1, 2012, if an app was filed Mar 30, 2010 (my case), it would most likely be processed to completion ...

which means I shouldn't be surprised if my app lingers on until the end of 2nd Quarter or the beginning of 3rd Quarter of 2012 (which means Re-Medicals around May 2012)

Hello,
I am on my last stage (only waiting for my passport request). I was wondering if I overstayed in the US for a maximum of 5 months would I still get my canadian greencard??

further, it seems they're processing 1 month worth of pre-June2010 cases in 2 months,

at 15 months on 1 July 2010, they completed 80% cases from March 2009 onwards
at 21 months on 1 July 2011, they completed 80% cases from September 2009 onwards

October 2009 cases to be processed in July, August 2011
November 2009 cases to be processed in September, October 2011
December 2009 cases to be processed in November, December 2011
January 2010 cases to be processed in January, February 2012
February 2010 cases to be processed in March, April 2012
March 2010 cases to be processed in May, June 2012
April 2010 cases to be processed in July, August 2012
May 2010 cases to be processed in September, October 2012

of course this is upper limit, i.e., our case are sure to be processed by this time (by sure I mean our cases belonging to the 80% basket not the 20% ones, in which case they would be delayed further)

The million dollar question is would processing be faster this year or slower ... it would be faster if the effect of reduced 10,000 cap (down from 20,000 cap) is stronger than the new post-June-2010-pre-July-2011 backlog this year ... slower the other way around
