smallduck! your news is like an oasis in the middle of a desert

however your file was in NY not in Buffalo and that worries me ...

I don't remember exactly what he said, but apparently, someone received the PPR last year and then the consulate sent out email to correct that the PPR was a mistaken.
I was hoping that Jan 2011 will reset the quota counter back to Zero, but one member "speculate" that the it wouldn't be reset until Apr 01. I guess he's an insider who knows a lot ;).
Keep it up everyone, thanks for the cheers :D. I have 60 days to sent out the request. Now I have to think "what to bring" and "what to follow" list ;).

Congrats Smallduck!

Aside from the important papers that you need to carry, don't forget to bring your swimming trunks for your
chicks venture in Canada! :P :P

Good luck! ;)

Thanks man, I need to work on my six packs ;) eventhough there are only few weeks that can be considered summer in Canada :)).

My 2nd AOR is on 15 April 2010 from Buffalo office. So, I walked down to CIC local office in Toronto to ask about what is happening with my application. They took my File # and they told that, my file is transferred to Detroit office and BFD is 14 April 2011 (they set BFD date as 1 yr from AOR!!!!!. :o :o). They did not update this change on ecas status and I am following Buffalo office discussion threads all these days :P :P :P

Now I need to look for some threads related to Detriot. How different is this Detroit office from Buffalo..are they processing faster...u guys know any thing about this Det office...

woah!!!....did they tell you when your file was transferred to detroit...I have similar timelines and have applied on fsw2..currently in toronto on a wp...where is this cic office located?.... From what I understand detroit should be faster than buffalo...

They didn't tell me the date of transfer. CIC office is located very near by to St.Clair subway station. The officer who talked to me is very nice person and took extra step to login to Buffalo office system (he told, usually they don't do that!!).
