Good day everyOne.

I would just like to give an update on the status of my file. I checked my E-Cas today and it says "In Process" from RBVO ;D
But the details still pending review

Also, I noticed that my address is not showing up on E-Cas

anyOne knows if these changes are positive or negative?

Further updates--
Global Case Management System (GCMS)

The GCMS project is now in its second phase, focusing on visa offices overseas, where the vast majority of applicants first seek CIC services.

In June 2010, the first visa office overseas will begin using the new version of GCMS. Once fully implemented in March 2011, GCMS will provide a single integrated processing capability for all citizenship and overseas immigration applications.

Most of Buffalo immigration officers (IO) were busy in training for this new system that is why in 2010 second half application went slow.

Post Mar 2011, application will move faster.

Hi guys,
Logging in after ages. So here is my situation:
We got the medical request in November 2010. Sent the medicals in December 2010. But the complication here is that I had my medical done in Singapore where I am now based and my wife and kids got there meds done in US (NY). Our medicals got there around 25th Dec but haven't heard back after that. Not sure if this is unusual or ok..
Usually applicants get visa stamping calls in under 2 months time.
Can anybody guide me here. Is there anything we should do?

It's normal and you are not the one who sent med results from different locations. And I don't think that 2 months time frame is valid anymore. I myself has been waiting for more than 4 months after sending out my Med.

as i applied from Canada still waiting for meddicals from Buffalo.In case when i recieve the medicals and i am not here in canada d.t my vacations back home so would it be possible to get my medical done there back home or i have to get it done in canada.

That would be up to you. You have choice to do it from any where.

If you do it from Canada, report will go to VO directly.
If you do it from other place, report comes to Ottawa (centralize office) and then gets forward to VO.

As long as you receive the Med Forms, you can do it anywhere you want and at the end of the day, the results will be forwarded to the VO as canada_dream100 said

Have you check your e-cas lately if they put back your address in there??

I am happy for you and I feel the same way when I 've noticed that my status went to "In Process" even it has the same RBVO details. Somebody from the other thread posted that her/his address was gone after the "In Process" initially appeared in the e-cas then it was back after few days but still RBVO details...

Anyways yeah, at least there is a change though for others it is just NOTHING, for us it is SOMETHING!!
