Hi every1,

Though i recieved my 2nd AOR from buffalo in november 1st wk.And in the letter there is just a File number and it doesnt mention any date except at the most lowest portion it says

status/acknowledgg April 2010

So what it means ? my 2nd AOR date would be november or april.
And i have been in canada since june 2010 on work visa in highly skilled class and applied for immigration in this class as well so what would be sub category like FSW1/FSW2 OR FSW3.

I sent an email to ask abt the Status of my application.

I got a one line answer saying my application is in process but the status online still shows as 'Received by VO". Did you guys also received the same sort of response or have received a Medical Request from the VO. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Same as yours

Cheers... :D :D

hi, guys, r there any updates today? :D

NOPES..
I GUESS THERE IT GOES 2010,,
NO CHANCE OF ANY CHANGE BEFORE CHRISTMAS NOW.. :(

NOW LET'S THINK ABOUT JANUARY AND FEBRURAY...

Yup, totontonian2010, you r rite.

And I found most of the applications 2nd AOR before May has been "Medical Request", I saw May 2nd AOR applications are all still " Received by Visa Office" but Email reply "In Process". At least guys before May are knowing their applications are passed just waiting for Visa stamp, we are after May apps are very anxious. :(

Fingers cross. Good luck.

Hi,

I applied under FSW 3 on Jan 11th at CIO Sydney
Got AOR from Sydnet March 3rd
My app was sent to buffalo march 11th
I sent complete appl set to Buffalo Apr 19th
I received AOR from Buffalo on May 7th
My ecas is showing " received by visa office, they might contact you"
it has been more than 8 months and still nothing...no medical request or change to "in process" !!! very desperate

Aries 9811--i sent an email requesting the status and this is what I got:

Your file is in a queue awaiting initial assessment. This could take up
to 64 weeks from the date we received the application.

Canadian Consulate General Buffalo

Immigration Section

Imagine 64 weeks!!! it is horrible!! well, let me know if you receive any other response from them.

yes it sounds ridiculously long
64 weeks translated to about 16 months. However, this is the published processing time in CIC website Buffalo - 17 months... Hopefully it won't take long and I have seen many receive progress to In Process or to Medical Req in average 5-6 months..GOOD LUCK
