Nope stil shows Recieved by Visa office..that sucks man..big time....

Does "In Process" mean that my application has crossed the initial reveiw at the visa office?

Oh, yup, I think its because we both have AEO are longer, GOD! ???

but i see gte439u is fsw2 with similar aor date as me, but has changed to in-process.... so no idea if fsw2 is a factor

We are both FSW 2. However, my job offer is exempt from the Labour Market Opinion because I obtained my work permit pursuant to an international agreement (NAFTA) and benefit to Canada (post-gradaution). I have also been in Canada for two years already. These factors may favour faster processing of my application.

Hi iam under same rules as you ,with being in canada from last 3 years and have been working from last years..but still no change..
NO factor is really helping for faster processing in my case...

NO factor is really helping for faster processing in my case...

I am an iternational student here for more than 2 years too, i think as we are already inside Canada, and has the jobs and schools, paying them tax already, so they needn't hurry up our cases..... :'( :'( :'(

It's good to know that I'm not the only one checking the status application and goin crazy everyday to see it still says ''received by visa office''. ??? :'( I am currently working in Toronto and applied with arranged employment. (does this fall under fsw2?) we got our second file number from buffalo on 6th of may. Does anyone know when we should expect medical instructions? What is the next step? Is it first going to say 'in process', medical comes first or after? :
I'll update our status as soon as it changes, thanks in advance for all the info

hi, yes, you are under FSW2, same as me, and your AOR date is almost da same as mine too. Most of the time, we would see E-cas changes to "In process" before receive your medical request, but i saw a case someone received his medical request, but the E-cas is still showing "received by visa office", but i think its very less cases.

Still received by visa office. 30/04/2010, looks will be in 2011 when some thing turn up.
I think Buffalo should think that these students and work permit holders can become economically beneficial more quickly then new comers, should priorities their cases.

i feel the same way torontonian, its almost 4months after AOR date that nothing happened.
i went to buy a car, they need a PR for providing loan or lease.for every small thing they need PR but why dont this immigration officers doesnt understand that.

people who are inside Canada should be more likely to get their Status quickly... they have to change their minds.
