Hey Team,

My file was transferred to Buffalo on 26th Feb 2010, submitted my document in May 2010 and got AOR mail on 4th Nov 2010 from Buffalo..

Since the processing time start from file transfer.. dont you think we should have file transfer date as criteria instead of 2nd AOR which is quite wierd.. some got within 1 month and some got after 5 months..

also if there is any special thread I should follow then please advice.

Thanks in advance

Its from the date VO receives your complete application package.

Cheers..

druid,

Canadapost handles things to US Postal Service once they cross the canadian border (I buy online in canada quite a bit). I wouldn't trust US Postal Service with my passport (based with previous past experience with documents). I cant comment on Canada Post though. If I where u I would use FedEx. Just my opinion

Hi Vermas,

Did you request/recieve CAIPS?

I requested CAIPS, but after 1-1/2 month I got a one-page note. On top of this page is written "FOSS CHECK". It contains just only my points and additional doc requested from the visa office. I am sure that this data downloaded from the VO database. Since I took IELTS after CIO-NS assessment. In CIO assessment, I claimed 16 points for language but after I got the IELTS score it is less than 16 points but I reported to VO.

1. Does this calculated point show that my paper screen is finished?
2. Should I have to wait more to get CAIPS?
3. Generally what is the FOSS CHECK? where the information comes from?

Thanks,
Moein

Hey hey, same here. I requested the CAIPS today, and lets see.

We are the same FSW2, AOR date is almost the same, don't know why our cases are so slow. :( >:(

Hi loveson & burcu,

I absolutely understand the feelings. Nice move that you guys thought of ordering CAIPS to see what's going on on your files,. Well, the real picture is that most of us are still stuck on our status in Buffalo. Lots of us got 'In Process' but then, still with RBVO inside - meaning, all of us are still in the same boat. So, cheer up and don't lose hope. I know, one of these days, we may also receive our Medical Request that we are all waiting for. Let's just keep on praying and believing with the Lord Almighty.

God Bless us all.

Are you in Canada?
If you mind giving me details about filling up the form ?
If we need to send normal cheque or draft ?
I am the principal applicant but my wife is on my application as well so if i need to send a separate form for her and separate fee as well ?
In the request for column what did you click ?

Your help or anyone who has gor thru the procedure plz comment

Appreciated

S

Hi moein,

I will order CAIPs next week through my relative in Canada as I am back in India.

CAIPS/FOSS related info is available on http://immipedia.ca/Ordering_FOSS_and_CAIPS_notes. FOSS is for applications processed in Canada. Did you by mistake tick in the box for FOSS rather than CAIPs when you ordered your notes (form IMM 5563). You may wish to order CAIPs notes again.

Best wishes,

Hi Vermas,

I don think that I made such a stupid mistake. Anyway the Canada Post strike is started from tomorrow. I have no idea, what might happen for MR or CAIPS request.

Thanks

Then, perhaps they did the mistake.

wow! Congrats druid2010!
YES, it is acceptable method as long as you will give an authorization letter to the person you will ask to do it for you. I've seen lots of people in this forum who asked their friends or relatives to cross the border and do the procedure for them.

Hope mine is next.... ;)

Cheers! :D
