Hello everyone, Need some help.
I applied for PR under CEC category, received file# in June 2014.
My "post grad OWP" expires on Nov 7th 2015. I'm currently working.
Wanted to know when will be the right time to apply BOWP and what is the processing time for BOWP ?

Once you have applied for PR and waiting for their review, you can apply for BOWP four months before PGWP expires. For processing time, please see below:

Applied on April 13th, approved on July 22nd. The application wait time is very long. However, if you provide sufficient information, the application should be a success. Be patience on the processing time, good luck to all!

i applied my bowp on may 17th,2015. I created a pdf merging my EXPLANATION LETTER+AOR+MEDICALS+PNP+PGWP..Should i sent physical papers again just to make sure of my case??

What would you do if your work permit expires in 3 weeks and still haven't received AOR?
I am stressed out, i don't know what i am supposed to do now.

Below is my Detail:

ITA received : July 10, 2015
Applicaion submitted : August 28, 2015
AOR (first one) : August 28, 2015
Medical Passed : September 6, 2015

Do i have any other option beside waiting for AOR? what will i do once my work permit expires?

if your wp has expired and u didnt hear from cic about bowp.. then u can still keeping working on implied status without leaving canada..

My work permit expires on October 19th. What do you mean by "didn't hear from cic about BOWP"?
I haven't even applied for BOWP yet. The details i mentioned are for PR application, now waiting for AOR that says i can use it for BOWP. How can i apply for implied status?

Hi Sheen

Just apply for the BOWP online without the 2nd AOR. That's what I did. I haven't seen a single person on these forums that has actually received a 2nd AOR so I don't think they actually exist.

Currently the processing time for a BOWP if you are inland and apply online is 130 days. That gives you 130 days of implied status but you must apply for your BOWP BEFORE your current visa expires!

If they reject your BOWP application because you dont have the 2nd AOR it will have given you an extra 130 days of working eligibility, and hopefully your PR comes through before then.

Applied online May 25th. Just got approved today Sep 30. Received Approved letter. 128 days wait time.
