BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

The paper applications are still stuck where they were. But what are you gonna do.

I just got off the phone from talking to CIC call center and they told me that as of Sept 12th they have not been accepting online applications for BOWP because of an issue with the online application process not asking for the correct forms. Said they are working on it but no date as to when it will be resolved. Is there anyone out there who has successfully submitted an online application for a BOWP after September 12th?

I submitted on October 1 - it took me a couple of days as the forms wouldn't upload but I did it in the end. Surely there would be something on the site if this was the case?

All my forms were uploaded and I got my confirmation email

Just got this back:

Thank you for contacting the Citizenship and Immigration Canada Call Centre’s e-Services Unit.

We verified the information you provided. The situation that you have described is the result of an ongoing technical problem. Unfortunately, we are unable to fix it at the moment.

Therefore, we recommend you to re-enrol with a new GCKey/Sign-In Partner in order to access your MyCIC account and start a new online application.

During the enrolment process, when asked Do you have a client ID?, you must answer No to this question, even if you do have a Client ID Number.

If you still experience technical difficulties, please note that you may also submit your application by mail.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I finally heard back about my application that I sent on 9/10/13 (online), just been approved until 10/16/14. It's a relief to hear, now I just got to work and wait to hear back about my cec application.

What does it mean by 'secure document'? is it by courier or regular mail?

Finally the CIC updated the processing times and it takes 34 days for work permits

Application approved!

Submitted online on: September 10th (submitted AOR and 2 weeks before the 4 months requirement...but I knew that they would review my application inside the 4 months window)

email approval confirmation sent on: October 17th (although the email said that it was approved on October 16th)

Total days: 36

p.s.: I will update once I get the official BOWP on my mail, cause that's the paper that immigration officers and employers will ask for anyways!

Oh man I'm so fortunate....I applied on Sept 10th....online is so much faster!

I applied on 3rd Oct 2013, it was accepted and I received confirmation eMail too.

As per above note, online applications are not accepting which are submitted after sept 12th. Now do they process my application or not.

I applied on oct 1.
I also received confirmation email etc
Because of this, I have assumed that everything went through fine and they are processing
Their site also says they are working on applications from sept 6 so there are ones who got through
Plus we would have heard about this long ago on this forum as most ppl apply online
I'm therefore not worried

I applied for my BOWP on Sep 10th and still waiting for news from CIC. I am seeing people receiving BOWP yesterday who applied on sep 10th.
Called CIC and they replied that they are processing only Sep 6th applications still(as in the CIC website). Not sure whats happening.

Any comments ?
