BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

I have submitted my application with out AOR. But i have attached an explanation letter.

The processing times just got updated today and the Work permit processing time went from 36 days to 41 days, and the 'now processing' date is still 16th of August. This suggests that in the past week they have not processed any applications at all.

Any idea what is going on?

Yes it's too soon. The estimates are based upon processing that took place during the strike. My guess is it'll snap back to about 30 days soon enough.

Correct. And that's the part most miss.
The information about processing times on the CIC website is out-dated. It's information from previous
weeks and NOT the current processing times.

When I spoke to a CIC callcenter agent a while ago she said the strikes only affected applications outside of Canada...?

Yes, for last 3 weeks continuously the processing times are kept on going up...
and for every 1 week update the current date of processing is only improved by 2/3 days, do you guys think there are too many of BOWP applications?
heard of any rejections for any unexpected reasons? Seems strike is nothing to do with it, had it been the case, the timeliness should have been improved rather worsened.

I am eagerly waiting for mine....

I submitted by application online on 23rd August and I gave a call to CIC on 1st October. Agent started reading the timelines published on the website. I insisted him to look into my application. He took my client id and confirmed that they haven't started working on my BOWP application and it may take another 8-10 days. Waiting time is killing me.

Received following confirmation mail from CIC on 5th October (Saturday) at 11 pm stating BOWP application approved. I applied on 23rd August around 11.30 pm. BOWP validity is for 1 year. It took 43 days for me.
