I need urgent help. I dont have a birth certificate and cant even retrieve the same.
What alternate document can i provide for my PR application to Canada.

Anyone faced a similar situation in past, please share your application.
Some sites are suggesting that i should get an affidavit done. Please guide.

Who says that you need a birth certificate?

Normally, this is only required for children.

It has been requested from hundreds of applicants. Not all, but a lot.

submit your secondary school certificate if this has date of birth and name of at least one parent along with a affidavit.

Any lawyer would do this. Just see that your birth date matches to one on passport

Thanks for your reply. can you also guide regarding the content i should include in the affidavit.
Some posts/websites mention that the affidavit should be prepared by parents stating the reason as "birth not registered hence no birth certificate". Do you have any idea regarding the same. If possible share a format for the letter and affidavit.

That is to be added in LOE and not affidavit.
