I see on the spousal tracker that the request for biometrics comes before medical. For me, both biometrics and medical are In the same place about 2 hours away. I was wondering when I receive request for biometrics, can I go ahead and take the medical exam as well? Is there a specific document I am waiting on before going into medical? Or do I just need my case number? Btw my medical place offers e-upload.

Have u received your AOR yet? Usually takes between 1 and 3 months from AOR to get medical/ biometric requests from IRCC. When the time comes they will email you the forms to bring for your medical and biometrics. The forms will have your application number and name on it

My understanding is (and maybe I'm wrong) when u submit your application at the beginning you can send.your medical with it. If u already sent your application u wait till they send u the form as it has all the information on them for your application. Then the medical staff will submit it directly to IRCC for u. But again I could be wrong

Forgot to say. It's better to wait longer to do your medical as they are only valid for 12 months. The earlier you do it the faster they will expire and if your application takes longer then 12 months you'll have to do them again and pay again

The checklist explicitly tells you to not submit the medical exam with your application. You’ll receive a request for the exam after you receive your AOR. You should check the tracker for wait times and patterns.

Hi! I received both my medical and biometrics request on the same day. I just want to know if what should I do first, should I complete for my medical exam first then give my biometrics or is it okay if i submit my biometrics first then do my medical exam or either any of them comes first?

I believe either of them comes first. There are couple of people who received the medicals before biometrics as well as others who received biometrics before medicals. I belive the medicals are upfront soon can book an appointment for the biometrics and do the medicals once the mula is ready don't even stress about which one comes first.

But make sure you do complete them before the due date. That's all I guess. Unless maybe others have other ideas or real facts.

They might be working on eligibility and background now, My background check took 6 months. Can you see the status of the application on gckey?
