Ping Pong between HoC and Senate now officially starts to play.

This was posted twice with no comments. He wants you guys to respond. Classic trolling!! Don't fall for it.

Folks, I think we should setup up a go fund me to purchase flowers for the ladies in the senate that worked tirelessly for this bill. Its only right we show our appreciation

I think you have some problems. Think positively. Negativity is a disease.

Look at his nickname! >:(

The bill is in the government's hands now.

I can't see them opposing the amendments for due process of citizenship revocation and minor citizenship application, but they may reject the age language requirement. I suppose this is going to depend on how the government is willing to compromise.

Quite frankly, the language requirement is relatively minor compared to the other two, so you never know, we may see the bill passing HOC without any further modification.

Bill C-6 sought to reduce the max age requirement to 54, the amendment would only reduce it to 60.

I think HoC accepts the bill with amendments. Bill still has major things plus some good things.

The max-age language amendment is not going to affect the majority of us in this forum, but we will see. I too hope there won't be too much delay.

After almost one year of patience , frustration , loss of hopes ...It happened
Later yes but it happened .100s of pages of messages
To be honest I really think that the people's involvement on twitter played a part
Thank you all who participated, updated and helped others in any ways

Congratulations everybody
Most likely that thread will live since all will be applying together :)
It will happen soon.

The main thing right now is how soon it will become an actual law and how long it will take them to replace all the application forms.

Not out of the woods yet...any guesses as to how long the HoC might take to debate the amendments?
