I do not know what will happen, but just a suggestion might be providing a detailed definition of who is a terrorist to avoid applying to the term to anyone who the government does not like in the future.
That's a definition that can be changed by any government who does not lot like it in the future. Slippery slopes cannot become anything but more slippery...
A Canadian terrorist is a Canadian terrorist. And it should and will be Canada's job to deal with him.

I think at committee level it is going straight to votes. Someone correct me please if I am wrong.

I hate to be the party pooper every time; but what happened so far is a progress, not good or bad news. No need to get excited, because committee stage could end the lifetime of this bill; or maybe approve it. The point is we will finally know what the voting senators really think. Most of them kept quiet throughout the process.
What was the score of the vote ?
Did it pass second reading by a large margin ?

Sorry I cannot answer your question, I lost connection towards the end, I am just going by what other fellows are saying here. I will have to read the transcript tomorrow.

Social Affairs, Science and Technology (honestly - what a weird name)
I just checked, I think he was referring to Human Rights Committee. But someone here said it was passed on to the Social Affairs ... committee. If the second statement is true, the Libs have 9 to 5 ratio there, so C-6 will be voted in. Again I might be wrong.
