How I understand it they are currently voting on the actual amendment of the bill.

If this vote passes, they will have to vote one last time on the bill itself. They could have a debate before that final vote if they wanted to though. Or even adjourn. Don't get too excited yet.

But as I understand it, this is "just" the amendment vote. They have to vote again for the whole bill after!
