Hi Soon_CanadianSoon_Canadian said:mharakeh1,
When did you receive the email that your file has been transferred to beirut embassy and what did it say.
And how long after that did you have to wait before they asked you for police certificate?

in July 22, 2013 i have received an email from the canadien embassy of beirut inform me that i need to renew my police certification, and that my application now is in beirut office, so i guess this is the last step to me before the interview, and maybe i need to renew my medical exam test.

Do you have a file number that starts with a B?
You can continue your application normally without any issue in your process, and if you start working in Dubai you need 6 months after the VISA is stamped in your passport from Dubai to get a police certificate from Dubai.Soon_Canadian said:I just got accepted for a job in Dubai, and they are sending me a work permit.
Does anyone know if that will affect my case? Will it delay my application if i lived in another country?
Are you sure i don't have to inform the Canadian embassy in Beirut that i have changed my address until 6 months of me being in Dubai?mharakeh1 said:You can continue your application normally without any issue in your process, and if you start working in Dubai you need 6 months after the VISA is stamped in your passport from Dubai to get a police certificate from Dubai.
For now you don't need to provide the Canadian embassy in Beirut with your new address until you continue the 6 months in Dubai so you can issue a police certificate from UAE.
But how long you need to Work in UAE before you get your Canadian VISA? please take into consideration all the rules related to your new work in UAE.
In my opinion you don't want to inform the embassy now, because suppose you stopped your work in UAE before 6 months, what happen in the case. maybe if you talk to the Canadian embassy in Beirut that you have changed your address you need to provide them with a police certificate from Dubai Police, so you need to wait 6 months to get it.Soon_Canadian said:Are you sure i don't have to inform the Canadian embassy in Beirut that i have changed my address until 6 months of me being in Dubai?
I didn't get the question about my work in UAE and my Canadian Visa, can you please explain?
