Believe me, I have been reading wayyyy to much about immigration and sponsorship that I am actually better than any lawyer out there

I submitted for me to sponsor my husband dec 2010

Accepted January 18 2011 it's reached Syria

Had medicals done with app

Redid them February of 2012

Husband had an interview almost four months ago
They told him no more then a month and we r still waiting

My husband is 26

No we don't have kids.
We were planing of getting married next year, but we did it in Cyprus couple of months ago so I can start my application
We are still very young, I'm 26 she's 22, she is still in university actually

I dont know why its take too long. She dont live other contry than lebanon and she and her family dont have political affiliation.

Any specific reason why the security check would take long for your wife?
Did she live in multiple countries other than Lebanon?
Does she or her family have a certain clear political affiliation? (I don't care to know which party, just a yes/no)

my advice dont bother to go to beuirut it will never help.
for you marwah trust me its very very soon.
about me i got an e-mail just today what they are saying is:

please advise if you would like to proceed with the DNA procedures in order to send you all the instructions and continue the process of your application within 07 days of the date of this email.
you can immagine after almost five months from the interview the need her advice which she already gave before.

Hi everyone, I just registered for this forum and have read some of ur posts.
I applied to sponsor my spouse in November 2011. Last two times I contacted embassy the reply was they are waiting for security results. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how long this process usually takes?

When we first applied the processing times were 13 months and we have now reached 19 months...there must be something one can do?? Someone to contact? I have friends who were given the visa between 8-11 months.

marwah they asked for the DNA test coz they want to make sure of the parental, this means to make sure if my children are realy belongs to me or not, are they realy belongs to their mother or not.
they requested it coz the insufficient documents i provided, just more delays
