Yass, maybe we should add a column with the title "security check", because i see a lot of ppl wtng for it, sayir like a 3rd process.
How many of you guys are waiting for security check? Are they asking only the man to have them done? enno ana sarlei natra mn October for security check w my husband never travelled anywhere wala was in the army.
BTW, ana (mtl ma 2al Keko), ballashet sra3oun bl e-mails eventhough yhey say to kindly stop e-mailing them, bas ana kindly i not gonna stop. Halla2 sarlei 19 months so i need to know why the delay.

For me they asked me to stop emailing them but Monday I'll start sending them I don't and I will never care mesh ra7 tokrab aktar ma mena kharbane we should treat them badly for me I applied for my wife since April 2011 and AOR I got it since may reached to damascuss June 2011 how much I have to wait I am Canadian my daughter she is Canadian so walla bade arreffon hayaton I will never care I am suffering and this officer sitting in his office taking it easy

hello every one, and alf mabrouk to who got called in to submit their passports.
i have been waiting for almost 24 months, and my wife has been contacting the MP in her area to get information about the stats for our application, and all what we get is that we are in the final stage and its in the security check stage, it has been almost 6 month since they started the security check and yet to hear anything from them, so hope to hear from them soon and wish all of you people on here the best luck and nshallah we all will be done soon.

This process is so stressful. I mean I have to find out everything for myself so this is the second time I am ordering GCMS notes. I have requested the VO to update my email address since 6 months ago and no update. My medicals expired December 11/2012 and the VO did not write whether to re-do them or not. I needed to update a police certificate from Europe, I found out from GCMS notes that I was to mail one in. I have sent over 15 emails and I didn't even receive one single reply. This has by far been the worst VO ever to exist. They don't keep you updated or request anything when things need to be done. It's been almost 22 months since application was approved in Damascus. If I have to do so I will book a flight ticket from Canada to Lebanon and get into the VO and express my frustration to all the officers working about how 2 years of my life/husband has been gone just like that. By the way my husbands in Syria right now suffering through this entire process and can't move out to Lebanon for personal reasons. I feel bad for everyone who are clueless in their process for not getting any answer, especially for those who have waited over 20 months. May this process end. Amen. Also, congrats to everyone who received PPR.

Hi all and congratulation to all who have received their PR recently, as per Yass chart, a lot of people have been waiting for 22 months and more including me, some people were luckier enough to get their PR earlier, I know how frustrated people feel for being in a waiting circle without any clue of when this process might end, I have been asked to redo my medical test after 7 months of expiry and they have answered my inquiry once since the beginning of this process, my wife come twice a year to visit me here,she's here now and she talked with the visa section on the phone after she sent many e-mails without any response, they told her to come to embassy after a long conversation, I know we wouldn't get any answer even though we go there, hopefully you will all be united with your beloved soon, all the best my friends.

It is always good to hear from you and the rest of the friends here,
As for Alberta or Ontario, security checks, the length of the process, and all of that!
I'm disgusted with them and their process, they're far from consistant, and they keep making excuses, and asking for more and more papers.
Not only men are waiting long for security checks, even women are!
Ya3ni sho mitwa23een min banat bil3ishreenat lamma we3yo kan ma fi 7arb wala shi?
Eh sho 3amleen jarayim bi7a2 el ensaniyyeh?! el3ama lik eza baddi wazzif wa7ad ajnabi w baddi jeebo visa 3amal byaakhod a2al min talab marti??!!! eh Allah ma 2ala!! ya3ni wallah 2arrafona w zahha2ona, khaliha 3ala Allah :-X
w akeed lazim ndal positive all the way, because we have rights and we are only asking for what we are entitled for!

I agree with you I applied for my wife since April 2011 I think some files that took too much time because when they closed the VO. In damascuss by mistake they send files to different VO and they return it back in august 2012 and in September start asking for papers that's the only reason for that long time for processing our files
Be al arabi 2refet Ana, in 3rd December. Said our file in last stage of assessment and familly officer is reviewing the file for decesion , then after 3. Days called asking for my new baby recede for citizenship. Then in 20 December they send email saying my file is in queue for review by familly class officer be saraha and zhe2et wo 2refet Koop email different for other wo yemken khakass I can't hold it any more
