So what should be the end of the story now?

Inno this bold guy in the embassy did not mention what is the reason and that he is not the main employee for imigration files and he doesn't know the time limit of your case and did not even tell you what you should be waiting for, why didn't you ask to meet some responsible in the council office or even the councelor himself?

My friend, they are obliged to tell you all the informations concerning your case, i mean by now they know all about you and your personal life and more than that they know your blood type and who knows maybe more personal informations than the Lebanese government should know.

You mentioned that your wife contacted the PM, i think this means the lawyer, let me give you an advice, 3 persons you should not trust, a bank manager, commission man (comissionji) and a lawyer. Those 3 i mentioned would lie all day if they sensed they might lose a dollar.

Have faith friend, count on yourself, call them or send e-mail or go back again to the embassy and ask to talk to the councelor directly just to know from him all the reasons.

Ajaxxio saraha i donno iza kein my file in the security check and for a reason t2akhar l security check ta yijiyon,and for the PM,its the office of prime minister,we authorized hes office to keep asking for our application......u know wa2ta da2oole 3ashen l passport ba3da bi yawmen da2oulna min maktab l PM W SHE SAID UR APPLICATION IN PROCESS,and now i figure out inoo ma3a 7a2 kein ,and as i said before min 3 month they called us and tell us that the file is in security check

My wife got the email from the embassy , they asked for:
- Police Certificate
- New Medical Test
- Residency Questionnaire
- Schedule 1 (an update since 2011)

And all documents to be submitted within 30 days!!
It's funny because my wife booked her medical appointment before we got the email!!
Good luck all.
N.B: I contacted "Still Waiting" and asked if she needs help updating our chart, she doesn't mind, but I don't have access to it, so I will create a new page with the same chart, and we will update it with all the new developments if you guys don't mind!!

I have a question concerning about dropping the requested documents at the embassy, should I go and give my file to an officer or just put in the mailbox in front of the embassy??

kifik,hope all well with you, when you go to drop your envelope you don't see anybody they have the mail box on the left when you pass the entrance barricade,,,and make sure you put your name and all contact info and file # on the envelope,,, good luck

Thank you Lele, and yes my wife filled one when we applied in 2011, now they want an updated one!
They will get one, and the only updated thing will be the date my wife signs it because nothing has changed since we applied!!!

Wooooooooooow Yass that is very good news I also did my medical yesterday and guess what the doctor told me it is taking (after the medical) 15 days for the embassy to call us back.

Hi Joe, I am doing fine, how about you? any new updates about your file?
I already went yesterday and there was a security gard outside and he told me excatly how to drop my envelope in the mailbox, he was very nice and he wished me a good luck at the end.
I guess all who were first in Damascus will get there visas till the new year

they started processing my application on January 10, 2011.

I wanna take your opinion my friends, if I did the third medical by myself without they asking is it ok?
it is now 2 month and 3 weeks since last call
