look yesterday i went to beirut and did the medical report before they requested it, just prepared my self in case they contacted me soon ill just drop my documents as fast i as can. so what they request from u?

man when they sent u email asking for documents, did they updated ur website and change the status to inprocess or still application recieved.

Hi Kellysou,
It's very good that you did your medical from now, you should also prepare the residency questionnaire, those two takes time. The other documents is easy to bring after they send you the email because it may vary from a person to the other. They just wanted from me to bring my police certificate other than these two.
So Good Luck and hope soon they will contact you

Still Application received, even when you get your visa the website takes time to be updated.

Wooooooooooow Yass that is very good news I also did my medical yesterday and guess what the doctor told me it is taking (after the medical) 15 days for the embassy to call us back.

they started processing my application on January 10, 2011.

I wanna take your opinion my friends, if I did the third medical by myself without they asking is it ok?
it is now 2 month and 3 weeks since last call
no emails no calls

kifik ,if we wanna talk seriously without their law you're not suppose do pay for third time on your medical because they make you wait not viceversa .when it was expire your med exam,if you pass 15 months from the last date you did your exam,my opinion is go and redo, i think is better and you gain some time.

I fixed the date they started processing your application, but when was it initially received by CIC?

And I agree with Joe1313, I think you should do your medical if the last one is past the 15 months mark!

What's your timeline like?
If your file got to Damascus in July, then your file is ahead of mine!! my wife's file was transfered in Sep. 2011, and if you check the chart in my signature you will have an idea about the files of several members here, and if you want to add your information feel free to send me it.

yeah my friend wait,coz they have to consider your time waiting for over 2 yrs, why all this time do you know why.
does they give you a reason.anyway at the end it will be done my friend just stay positive and god will help us.

realy I do not know my case is very normal
I am waiting my CAIPS we ordered it on 02-Augast and tell now we did not receive it may be they said anything about the med.
but is it normal the CAIPS take all that time although we got the confermation email from them

Ah no my friend whats going on with you,you suppose to have answer on the latest 2 September , you"re in canada or your husband,,,who ever is there you have a 800 # call them and ask about your caips.
it happen with me the same i wait till the 30th day they said it need to answer me and on the 31st day i called them and they sent me the caips on the same day via e-mail.

Lele, I have ordered the CAIPS, and on the 30th day I got an email saying they need more time, and they sent me a link to the law saying they can extend it as long as it takes to get the info, then after another month I sent them an email, and all what they said they needed more time, then couple of weeks later they sent me an actual letter by mail to notify my my CAIPS application was wrong!!!!!

Your situation is strange though, and I am very sure an MP can get to the bottom of this because you're way past the timeline.

I asked them to send me the CAIPS info by email, not regular mail.
I applied for it again on Sep 18th, let's see what's going to happen now!!
