Still waiting thank you for your reply.

I am checking the cic.gc.ca to have any idea about my case, i am entering my file number and using the number that starts with letter Fxxxxxxxxx and trying as well to enter the number that starts with letter B, but all giving me nothing except that they received my application on 3 May 2011, eventhough they say that all the informations are updated every Tuesday, is it possible that lying and neglection reached Canada that easy?

I re-did my medical exams and sent my residential questionnaire upon their request, they even called me on the phone to tell me that i should present the section A and receipt to the embassy because my file is already in the councils' office, this was on 12 July 2012 and that was it since then.

I have been told that after presenting our meds and questionnaire we should wait for 8 months, is that true?

FADIMAYA, how long did you wait after the medical exams before they called you and told you to present the passport in order to take the visa? did you present as well the residency questionnaire? when was it?

Thanks Anoushka, nairyd & still waiting, I really hope to hear back from them on Monday,

I called two times but they said only email or fax, I emailed them and the MP also is checking but still no answer.

My friend, I suggest like Nairyd that you should go directly to the embassy and ask your passport back (stamped) and don't let them send you back home, stay there till you get it ...

My husband just got an email from Beirut embassy saying they need:
- new medical exam
- updated police certificate
- original individual civil extract showing our marriage status
- copy of passport
AlL WITHIN 30 days

Ok everyone , so what does this mean. ? ?? Is this a good sign. ? Do you think he will get visa soon. ? From your experiences how long Would

To issue visa??

My hubby just left Lebanon to KSA for work , so can he do the medical in Saudi? Or does he have to go
To Leb ,? Also, he has to get other docs so maybe he should just go
To Leb? Should he update them in an email that he's now in Saudi or just write a letter stating his updated status ???

I have mixed feelings of excitement , and worry

When I called and my wife's MP said that I can go and take my passport if I need it, but this does not mean that I will have the visa on it.

I do not know what to do they are not replying to my emails !!!!!

He does not have to do the medical in Lebanon, I did mine in UAE. I got an email from them asking me for the passport on the same day they got the papers that they asked for, but it has been three week and they have not gave my passport back !!!!!!!!!!

It is different each one of us has his/her own unique story

Thats great news Tina!! I suggest he looks into the whole doing the medical in KSA. Because I know when someone was in Canada on a tourist visa he re did his medicals! Best of luck!!! xoxo

As for us, my husband received a call 16 bussiness days ago saying your papers are almost done and we will call soon for you to bring your passport..and still nothing yet!! Inshalla soon..I had family events over the weekend and everyone was asking so whens your husband coming we are sick of hearing SOON from you! Thats always my reply--SOON inshalla Lol!

Oh no dont worry Anoushka, we have been waiting for 17 month and that call we received July 31st doesnt look like it was bright because we havent heard anything ever since! Dont lose hope, dont think about other peoples cases, everyones case will get their call/email!
