Hi everyone,

My wife last Thursday received an email, and they requested additional documents:

• Residency Questionnaire
• Photocopy of my passport
• Updated Police Certificate
• Updated IMM008 Schedule 1 - Background Declaration

I submitted the application, October 2011.
I have a question though, how do we answer the following question in the Residency Questionnaire, I'm currently visiting my wife until Eid Al-Ftr:

2) Is your sponsor currently in Canada?
 YES – If yes, you must answer questions A and B below.
A) My sponsor has most recently been physically residing in Canada from ___ /___ to ___
B) I last saw my sponsor in __________ from ___ /__ to ___ /__.
 NO – If no, you must answer question A below.
A) My sponsor has been living outside of Canada since _ ____ /__ ____.

Does the question apply to me as I'm a citizen and I come to Lebanon on visits? I don't live outside of Canada.

Being a resident of Canada isn't affected by temporary travel; you just need to make sure that they 100% know that it is in fact temporary, so just fill it with when where you last in Canada and for Qb just specify the date you have arrived to Lebanon and your intended day back; include your travel itinerary, a letter from employer granting you a leave if possible. Don't forget to include your last tax report and a reference letter from your employer. Good Luck!!!!

Yesterday the MP told my husband that my file is done but waiting for the medical exam renewal ,, and he also told him that the embassy send me to renew it last month, but guys ana ma weslni anything from them !!! Confused !!

I have a question,, in case the medical exam is renewed how long it takes to have a good news about getting the visa maybe ??

I think you should contact them. From what we've seen in the forum, they do a lot of stupid mistakes I have almost the same timeline as yours (lag you by one day) and till now didn't get any email regarding medical exam renewal.

Hi Tati00, I went through your previous posts and saw that you had received an email from the embassy that said " Kindly note that your medical result is still pending" which means that they do want the medicals from you guys. I suggest you go and do it right away and scan the green sheet to them.

And in my case, my husband re-did his medicals in January and i think it was March or April that it had said on his ecas that his medical results were received--so roughly it takes 1-3 months for them to get your medicals after you complete them--and in your case you should get your visa once they receive them!! Embassy was closed today due to virgin mother mary holiday, and it is also closed Monday August 20 for eid el ftr. (sorry if i spelt it incorrectly).
