BEIRUT Family Class Applications sent to Mississauga then BEIRUT 2012

hello guys how r u ,long time what number u call at beirut becz i called and they didnt transfer to an agent watnumber do u guys use ?

Hello friends
Monday i am going to re-do my nedical exams, that's what the embassy in Lebanon sent me an e-mail for, 1 month ago they sent me an e-mail asking for the ikhraj 2eyd both individual and family + military service card+ application of some informations about my travels in the last 10 years.
All this and my status has never changed since 13 May 2011.

What should come after all this? another year of waiting to re-do my medical exams for the 4th time?
My file was transfered to Damascus on 5 MAY 2011.

i called CIC in toronto and they were able to tell me that my file was received in lebanon on June 7! :/ so maybe all of you guys can try calling to! good luck!! have a good long weekend, try not to think of this issue, who knows this summer they can have a 'visa boom'

Me too i called the CIC office they told me that my husband's file was transferred to Syria and opened in Feb. 28. 2012 hopefully it is not just still sitting there. Good luck everyone

hi guys isent a mesg from 2 day askin abt the file and thts wat they replyed .
We acknowledge receipt of your e-mail and regret that we are unable to offer you a detailed response at this time. As you may be aware, the file that you are asking about was recently transferred to this office following the closure of our Regional Program Centre in Damascus. This relocation has resulted in some unavoidable processing delays of immigrant applications. We are now working hard to improve our processing capacity and reduce processing timeframes. Please understand that we are giving priority to processing, rather than to responding to status requests on individual files.
The particular file which you are asking about is in queue for an assessment by a visa officer. We will be in touch with the applicant should any outstanding documentation be required or when we reach a certain processing stage requiring further action on the applicant's part.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this transition period.

my wife got a call from the embassy two days ago requesting passport to stamp the visa, thanks god finally, wish the same to everybody very soon.

note: we applied june 2011 but our file was transferred to beirut vo directly, it was never been in damascus, i am not sure if that really makes difference.
